New new year!!

Hey peeps! How are you doing??
I hope you all had a very very cool new year party!!
I went with a friend of mine to Barva, a town that is located in another province. I liked it very much because they still preserve our traditions. We received the year sitting in the park, drinking wine, hearing the cimarrona (which is like a folkloric band) and watching the gigantas (which are people who carry some kind of doll in their heads and dance). It was sooo nice! I couldn't take any pictures because I have no camera... noO! I chose to buy clothes to go next year to the University and a cell phone instead of buying a camera . But well... it was my damn choice.

Peeeps!!!! It's 2008! I'm pretty optimistic. I know this year will be one of the best of my life, I don't know, I just feel that. I hope that you feel the same... and if you don't feel it, just do this year one of the best by yourself.

Since I got out of High School I feel pretty happy. It was a big limitation for me, I felt useless in all classes because what I really wanted was getting skills on arts. Not only that, I think that High School in some way interferes in finding yourself. I never had a defined philosophy of life until now.

What do I think now? Life is what you want to be. No less. You have a pretty short time to decide what to do with yourself, and how sad it would be... death knocking on your door in one of your sad days. Is it fair living a bad life, mourning for what has gone and not seeking for new opportunities? I have friends like that... and it is really sad.

I want to be someone, and that someone is me. You have no idea of how much people is afraid of studying arts here. They all think they will live under some bridge, dying of starvation. They think that because they are mediocre, without expectations. Cowards... I went, I did the test, and I won it. Just because I wanted it so much. I'm going to study arts and that's what I will to the rest of my life: art. I have publicity requests almost every week and I'm not even a design student yet. You only have to fight for what you want and believe.

Life always gives you what you are waiting for. If you're mourning all day long, guess what... you'll get more tragedy to continue mourning. I don't say if you're happy all the day you'll have the perfect life, but it helps. Don't be the victim, be the change.

Be happy, creative, passionate, dreamer... be yourself!

That's some part of my life's philosophy. I'll be happy if you think the same
